DUDESKIN SPONSORS PADDLE ROUND THE PIER2009 PADDLE ROUND THE PIER BEACH FESTIVAL
With over 33 thousand visitors at the 2009 Paddle Round The Pier Beach festival, a party was had by all!
The ethos of the event has always been to spread a little Aloha spirit and this years massive event was certainly no exception. Almost all of the top surf lifestyle brands were represented and all were pleased to see the introduction of Outrigger Canoe racing to the weekends events. The Paddle already hosts some internationally recognised events such as the Euro-Enduro SUP Race (20mile).
Widely supported by the watersports/boardsports industry, the Paddle continues to grow year on year from its humble surfing roots 13 years ago. It is now widely recognised as Europe's largest Free charity watersports event.
The Paddle Round The Pier is run entirely by volunteers and this year raised over £30K for the the RNLI, SurfAid International and the Local Children's hospital. Look out for it on Channel 5 on September 4th (8pm).
